Jefferson City police capture wanted Columbia suspect, on Greyhound bus heading to Chicago

A Columbia man wanted for a January 1 shots fired incident on Clinkscales road has been captured by Jefferson City police, while on a Greyhound bus heading for Chicago.

34-year-old Shaune Price is charged with three felonies for the New Year’s Day incident on Clinkscales.

Jefferson City Police had received information that Price was in the area, and saw him board the Greyhound bus Wednesday afternoon. JCPD officers boarded the bus and arrested Price, who also has a separate warrant for failing to appear in court on drug charges.

JCPD officers allegedly found a loaded Glock pistol in his vehicle, along with marijuana. Under a court order, Price cannot possess firearms or weapons.

He’s currently in the Cole County jail.
