Jefferson City police are investigating a stabbing.
They say it happened on Thursday evening on Marshall Street not far from the old state penitentiary.
The 37-year-old suspect has been arrested, but we don’t know the person’s name yet. The charges are second degree assault, armed criminal action, assault on a law enforcement officer, and drug possession.
The victim has non-life threatening injuries after getting stabbed several times in the arm.
