The Jefferson City Red Kettle campaign wraps-up on time and over its goal.
The campaign is now sitting at more than $289,000 in donations.
Lieutenant Christopher White of the local Salvation Army says with money still coming in, there’s a chance to do some dreaming.
“If we’re able to go above and beyond that 100 percent, that gives us some room to look at some other services and look at how can we best use our resources. What more can we do for the community?”
White says good weather and a big ring-off including Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe put the annual fund drive over the top.
