A Jefferson City woman is dead after getting hit by a boat propeller on the Missouri River.
The Highway Patrol said a boat hit something in the water at the Noren River Access near Jefferson City Saturday night. Tanna Henson and Scotty Smallwood were both thrown from the boat. Henson was then struck by the propeller.
Henson, 48, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Smallwood suffered moderate injuries.
