Joseph Elledge pleads not guilty to child abuse, endangerment

The man linked with the disappearance of a Columbia mother entered non-guilty pleas to three felony charges Monday.

Joseph Elledge is facing one count of child abuse and two counts of child endangerment.

One of those endangerment charges says he put the child at risk by separating it from its mother, Mengqi Ji Elledge.

Dive crews went looking for her again in the Lamine River Friday but had no luck.

Joseph Elledge is the main suspect in his wife’s disappearance.
