A judge has denied Charles Erickson’s imprisonment challenge.
Erickson pleaded guilty in 2004 to helping Ryan Ferguson rob Daily Tribune sports editor Kent Heitholt before he was killed. Ferguson’s conviction and life sentence were vacated in 2013.
The judge ruled this week that Erickson did not challenge his guilty plea and conviction in a timely manner.
