The judges of mid-Missouri’s 13th circuit have unanimously elected Circuit Judge Joshua Calvin Devine to serve as presiding judge for the 13th judicial circuit.
The circuit is comprised of Boone and Callaway counties. Judge Devine will serve as presiding judge for a two-year term starting immediately.
He takes over from Judge Brouck Jacobs, who declined to seek a third term as presiding judge after serving in that role for the past four years. Judge Devine says he greatly appreciates Judge Jacobs’ steadfast leadership over the past four years, and says it’s been the honor of his professional career to serve as judge in the community that he was born and raised.
