Juvenile arrested after Cole County stabbing

A juvenile stabbing suspect is arrested in Cole County.

Deputies say the victim had life-threatening injuries after getting stabbed at about 9 p.m. Monday on South Brooks Drive on the west side of Jefferson City. The victim was dropped off at St. Mary’s Hospital, then the car drove away.

Authorities tracked down the 15-year-old suspect on Liverpool Drive. The victim is now in stable condition at a Columbia hospital.
