Kentucky men’s basketball beats Mizzou 78-72 in SEC tournament action

The Missouri Tiger men’s basketball team has been eliminated from the Southeastern Conference (SEC) tourney in Nashville, after their 78-72 loss to Kentucky on Thursday.

Dennis Gates’ Mizzou team battled back from a 16-point deficit in the second half to take a lead, but Kentucky gets the win. Missouri senior Mark Mitchell was sensational, scoring 32 points in the game. Mitchell also had seven rebounds.

Missouri is now 20-12 on the season: they’re hoping for a trip to the NCAA tournament. The tournament field will be announced Sunday at 5 pm on CBS.
