Developers at the large Lakeside Ashland project say the video screen for their outdoor movie theater has been installed, and that it will be “a movie experience like no other.”
Project developer Nic Parks has said the theater will be mid-Missouri’s best place to watch a movie or concert. Lakeside Ashland, which is just west of Highway 63, hopes to open Labor Day weekend.
Developers say the project will be the “ultimate eat, play and stay destination.”
It will also include a lake, beach, 700-foot zip line and miniature golf. They’re also leaving enough acreage for a 200-room hotel and conference center.
