While light snow is possible in both Columbia and Jefferson City, the National Weather Service has revised its forecast for both communities.
The NWS now projects that Columbia and Jefferson City will receive a dusting to an inch of snow Thursday, with light snow tapering off by 10 a.m. The heaviest snow is now expected in the Lake of the Ozarks area, where two inches is possible.
Columbia and Jefferson City is still expected to have dangerously-low wind chills for Thursday, with a minus-5 wind chill expected in Columbia and a minus-2 wind chill in Jefferson City.
