Boone County confirmed a new coronavirus case Tuesday, after not reporting any new cases Monday.
Boone is at 93 positives, with 89 recovered. Cole is at 50 positives, and 42 recovered. Callaway is at 20 positives, 15 recovered. One death has been reported in each county.
Most patients have not recovered from the virus yet in Moniteau and Saline counties. Moniteau held steady at 41 positives on Monday. Saline is up four, to 171 cases.
Statewide confirmed cases were up 132 on Tuesday, to 7,303. Twenty-six more deaths from COVID-19 were reported in Missouri. It brings the state’s total to 314. It’s also the highest number reported in one day other than Friday’s count of 44 deaths, which state officials said included deaths that had not been reported over the previous ten days.
