Friday is inauguration day for Lincoln University’s new president.
Jerald Jones Woolfolk says she has a good group of cheerleaders out there to help with the school’s state funding challenges.
“I’ve met people – white people – who graduated from Lincoln in the Fifties, in the Sixties, and they love Lincoln University,” Dr. Woolfolk says. “I think we have something here. I think it’s a good model.”
Woolfolk comes to Jefferson City from a vice president’s position at the State University of New York-Oswego. Woolfolk has actually been on the job five months.
This is homecoming week at Lincoln.
