Lincoln University president gets contract extension

The Lincoln University Board of Curators has voted to extend President Jerald Jones Woolfolk’s contract.

Her current contract runs through 2021, and the new one will run until 2024.

Woolfolk joined LU in 2018, and is the university’s 20th president.

“I am committed to leaving Lincoln better than I found it,” she said. “I am committed to being here until I can hand it off ‘greater, better, and more beautiful than it was transmitted to me.’”

She previously served as the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at the State University of New York.
