(LISTEN): Newly-elected Columbia City Council member Lisa Meyer appears on 93.9 The Eagle’s “Columbia Buzz”

Lisa Meyer won the second ward seat on the Columbia City council in last week’s municipal elections, defeating Robert Schreiber III, 1,349-998. She appeared on 93.9 The Eagle’s Columbia Buzz program Sunday morning with Mike Murphy and Al Germond. She said her law-and-order message and support of the police through her campaign was the result of listening to constituents. Meyer will be sworn in Thursday (April 11) and take office at the next city council meeting April 15. She said she plans to take a collaborative approach on the city council and work with other council members to get things done.
