The holiday light display continues each night through Sunday December 21. VU’s Kylee Lawhead tells 939 the Eagle that it’s open tonight and other weeknights from 7 to 10:30 and on Saturday and Sunday nights from 5:30 to 10:30:

“The best time to come is later in the evenings. The earlier times are always the busiest. So come later in the evenings, come after that 8, 9 pm time and you’ll be able to zip on through to enjoy the lights,” Lawhead says.

Look for Christmas lights in every color and numerous holiday scenes at the display at VU’s headquarters. Lawhead tells 939 the Eagle that she’s proud of the many smiles the display has put on faces young and old throughout the years:

“It’s an amazing opportunity and an amazing project that we have tons of internal teams that are working on continuously throughout the year together. It definitely takes a village to put it all together and it’s really awesome to see the outcome and just the joy it brings over the holidays every year,” says Lawhead.

This is the final year for the popular event, due to the new apartments and all of the other development happening in that area.
