Coronavirus case increases stay fairly low in Boone County.
Boone has its lowest five-day average of new cases since last October, at 46 per day on Tuesday. There were 79 new positives Wednesday, which brought that average up slightly to 51. Active cases went up a little to 468. Hospitalizations stayed the same at 63, and are not straining resources.
Active cases in Callaway County went down a lot Wednesday, to 178.
Cole County added nine new cases on Wednesday.
