Local hotspot Saline County confirmed its first COVID-19 death Thursday, a 54-year-old man. There are 60 active cases in that county.

The state reported 139 new cases Friday, and 14 deaths from COVID-19. That makes 576 total deaths and 10,456 total positives. Most are in the St. Louis area.
