Boone County added another COVID-19 death Wednesday, for a total of 131. Health officials say the patient was older than 80.
Boone also reported 93 new coronavirus positives. Active cases rose slightly, to 648. Hospitalizations stayed the same, at 127. Hospitals in Boone are still operating at “yellow” status, meaning resources are strained and some surgeries are being delayed.
Cole County reported 61 new cases Wednesday.
