Boone County reported another COVID-19 death Monday. Health officials said the patient was older than 80. That’s now 70 total deaths from the illness in Boone.
Boone County reported 58 new coronavirus cases Tuesday. Active cases fell a little, to 461. Hospitalizations went up a bit, to 63, but are no longer putting a strain on resources.
Cole County reported 15 new positives Tuesday. There were four more COVID-19 deaths added in Cole this week, for a total of 101.
Callaway County reported 27 new cases Tuesday, and active cases rose to 272.
