Local COVID-19 Update (Feb. 18)

Boone County confirmed its 75th death from COVID-19 Thursday. Health officials say the patient was older than 80.

There were 41 new coronavirus cases confirmed Thursday in Boone County. Active cases went up, to 187. Hospitalizations went down a bit, to 35, and are not straining resources.

Cole County added six new cases Thursday. Callaway County reported seven more positives, and active cases went up to 120.
