Local COVID-19 Update (Feb. 25)

Another Boone County resident older than 80 has died from COVID-19. Health officials confirmed the county’s 76^th death on Wednesday.

Boone had 27 new coronavirus cases Thursday, and active cases went down to 149. Hospitalizations dropped a bit, to 26.

Callaway County confirmed four more COVID-19 deaths Thursday, for a total of 44. There were just two new coronavirus cases in Callaway, and active cases dropped to 72.
