Boone County reports its 65th death from COVID-19. Health officials said Friday the patient was older than 80.
Active coronavirus cases went down in Boone, to 717. There were 95 new positives. Hospitalizations went down, to 100, but are still putting a strain on resources.
Cole and Callaway counties both added a relatively small number of new cases on Thursday. Cole added 23, and Callaway added 10. Active cases dropped in Callaway, to 411.
