Boone County reported two more COVID-19 deaths Tuesday. Health officials say both patients were older than 80. Boone has confirmed 82 total deaths from the illness.
There were 14 new coronavirus cases in Boone County on Wednesday, continuing a lower trend. Active cases went up a bit, to 94. Hospitalizations went down, to 20, and are not straining resources.
Cole County reported four more deaths from COVID-19 Tuesday, for a total of 117. There were three new coronavirus cases in the county Wednesday.
Callaway County reported a drop in active cases, to 64. There were 10 new cases added since late last week.
