Officials reported a small increase in active coronavirus cases in Boone County.
There were 57 new positives on Friday, and active cases rose by five to 333. Hospitalizations rose again to a record-high of 77, but stay below capacity.
Active cases went down a little on the Mizzou campus, to 76. There were 13 new positives on Thursday.
Cole County reported a slight increase in active cases, to 133. There were 28 new positives on Thursday.
Callaway County on Friday reported 21 new positives. Active cases rose by 12, to 91.
As of early Friday morning, Missouri was reporting 1,135 new cases on Tuesday. Those daily numbers have at times been revised later once the state switched to a new online dashboard. The state reported 470 new cases for Sept. 28 on Thursday. By early Friday morning, that number had changed to 1,746.
