Cole County reported its 15th COVID-19 death Monday. The health department’s website says it was a person that did not live in a long-term care facility.
There were only five new coronavirus cases reported in Cole County on Monday, but there were 74 over the weekend. Active cases went up to 142.
Boone County reported 22 new cases on Monday. Active cases are down a lot, to 294. Hospitalizations dropped from its previous record, from 77 to 68, and are still below capacity.
Active student cases at Mizzou are down to 63, after just nine new cases reported Sunday.
The state on Monday reported there were 708 cases on Friday. Under the new reporting system in the state’s remodeled online dashboard, that number will possibly be revised up in the coming days. The dashboard initially reported 470 cases on Sept. 28, and now has 1,999.
