Longtime Columbia Daily Tribune editor and publisher Hank Waters has died.
The newspaper reports Waters died Thursday at age 90.
Waters was known for his daily editorials in the Tribune for more than 50 years. He kept writing regularly for the paper even after it was sold to GateHouse Media in 2016.
