Lue tapped as Columbia finance director

Columbia has a new finance director.

City Manager John Glascock announced Tuesday that Matthew Lue is taking the job, starting Nov. 4.

Lue has been finance director for the city of Warrensburg since April 2015. He worked at Children’s Mercy Hospital before that.

Lue replaces Michele Nix, who took a job out-of-state in the summer of 2018. Janet Frazier has been Columbia’s interim finance director.
