Local Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer gave a thumbs up to President Trump for his State of the Union address in the House chambers Tuesday night. But the Republican says he worries all the partisanship in DC is keeping lawmakers from making progress.
“If you want to get something done that’s what you have to do, work on a bipartisan basis. And if they don’t do that it has no chance in the Senate. Then they wonder why they don’t get anything passed.”
Luetkemeyer said early this week he does not expect the impeachment of Trump to last much longer in the Senate.
