Luetkemeyer misses out after Dems House takeover

The Democratic victory in the U.S. House snatches a plum job away from re-elected mid-Missouri Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer. The Republican was on tap to head up the Banking Committee.

“A lot of good folks here in Cole County won, but for me personally it’s a little difficult because a lot of my good friends in D.C. lost.”

Luetkemeyer says he thinks the new Democrat majority will look into impeachment hearings against the President.
