Luetkemeyer praises federal tax cuts

You’ll probably have a little more money in your pocket this holiday season than last year.

Mid-Missouri Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer says he and his colleagues tweaked the recent tax cuts.

“We didn’t make them permanent with regards to small businesses and individuals,” Luetkemeyer said. “We heard the concerns and we went back in and fixed that.”

Luetkemeyer says the fix also now includes an increased deduction for married couples who file jointly.
