Morgan County authorities have arrested a man wanted in connection with a recent shooting.
Deputies said they got information on Jan. 8 that Revious Hamilton was in the Bald Knob, Arkansas area.
Hamilton had been on the run since December. He is accused of shooting his neighbor in the face.
According to the Mogran County Sheriff’s Office, they contacted authorities in White County and provided a photo of Hamilton for identification.
Authorities in Arkansas were then able to identify Hamilton and another person on video surveillance at a business in Bald Knob. They were familiar with the other person, and were able to get an address of that subject. They located Hamilton at that address and took him into custody without incident.
Hamilton is being held in White County and will be extradited back to Morgan County.
According to deputies in Morgan County, they have dedicated countless hours to apprehending Hamilton, including building, ground and aerial searches. They have also done saturation patrols in the days since the shooting.
