Man arrested after five-hour Callaway County standoff

It took about five hours, but Callaway County authorities peacefully end a standoff with a man they considered armed and dangerous.

Travis Lenzing, 41, was in a home near Williamsburg when the cops showed up to arrest him late Thursday morning. Authorities say the Montgomery City man was violating parole on charges like assault with a gun and armed criminal action.

Negotiators got Lenzing to come out of the home late Thursday afternoon and arrested him.
