Man arrested after Moberly armed robbery

A man is in custody after an armed robbery at a Moberly gas station.

Police said they responded to the Daily Mart Gas Station on Wednesday night after they got reports of a man demanding money and displaying a handgun.

Officers said after the man got money he ran from the gas station and a search involving K-9 units began.

At one point during the search, the man was spotted on a roof top of a local business.

Authorities were eventually able to arrest him. No word yet on the identity of the suspect.
