Police have identified the man who died after a vehicle-pedestrian collision in north Columbia.
Authorities say Louis Estrada Jr., 63, was hit by a vehicle on Clark Lane, just northeast of the I-70/63 connector around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. Officers say they immediately gave medical attention to Estrada when they arrived, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt. Authorities say the driver has cooperated with the investigation and no charges are being sought.
