A teenager is dead after crashing just outside of Columbia.
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies say a pickup truck hit a utility pole and overturned off East Vemers Ford Road near Rangeline at around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Gabryel Hopper, 16, of Columbia died in the crash. A 14-year old passenger was taken to the hospital but wasn’t hurt.
