One person involved in the large Columbia marijuana distribution conspiracy has his sentence.
Nader Yanis was sentenced Monday morning to two years in prison after being indicted in March 2018.
He is the son of Osama Yanis, the owner of a Columbia coffee shop who has already pleaded guilty but hasn’t been sentenced.
The Yanis duo, along with six others, was indicted in the scheme. Lobbyist Eapen Thampy was also among those indicted.
