A Lincoln University student is dead after a Jefferson City shooting.
Police say they’re investigating the incident that happened in the 200 block of Dawson Street at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers spotted a speeding car on East McCarty. Inside they found shooting victim D’Angelo Bratton-Bland and three others. Bratton-Bland, 23, died after being taken to University Hospital. Investigators say the other three in the car are cooperating with the investigation.
Bratton-Bland was the President of the Student Government Association at Lincoln. A vigil was held in his honor on campus Wednesday night.
