Columbia police are investigating a shooting in the middle of town.
Officers say a man was apparently shot on Oak Street near Lincoln Drive late Monday night. A couple homes on Oak were hit by bullets too.
The victim was taken to the hospital. No info on suspects has been released yet. The new Violent Crime Task Force will investigate the shooting.
