Man shot in Jefferson City

Jefferson City police are looking for a shooter.

The 21-year-old man shot has non-life threatening injuries after taking a bullet at about 3 a.m. Sunday at a home on Madison Street between Tanner Way and East Ashley St. A large crowd was there when the cops showed up, but the man shot had been driven to the hospital.

Investigators say the person hurt is not cooperating with them. No arrests yet, but police say they do not believe the shooting was random.
