Man shot twice near Huntsdale

Boone County authorities are investigating a shooting near Huntsdale.

They say a guy showed up drunk to a home on Route O on Thursday night. He apparently started fighting a man and then a woman who live there.

The man who lives there grabbed a gun and said to stop fighting the woman. Deputies say the guy kept doing it though, so the man who lives there shot him twice.

The 52-year-old who was shot is in the hospital at last check. No criminal charges have been announced, but authorities are still investigating.
