Mid-Missouri is hosting a few mass coronavirus vaccination clinics on Friday. They are meant for people in Phase 1A and the first two tiers of Phase 1B in the state’s vaccination plan.
Mexico Airport is hosting one of the clinics, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Another one is at Riley Pavilion in Moberly’s Rothwell Park from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Missouri National Guard is helping with the clinics. Officials say to plan for long waits.
Boone County reported 86 new coronavirus cases on Thursday. Active cases rose to 622. Hospitalizations are at the lowest level seen in months, at 79. Cole County added 20 new cases.
