Union Station in Saint Louis is hosting a large medical marijuana conference on Monday and Tuesday.
Spokesman Jack Cardetti tells Missourinet about 1,300 people have signed up, and they’re not a bunch of stoners.
“People that are in the greenhouse industry…you’ll see people that deal in HVAC. You’ll see accountants and lawyers.”
Missouri voters legalized medical marijuana last November. The state health department reports getting 460 pre-filed application forms for dispensing medical marijuana, paying $3.3 million in fees.
