A Mexico, Mo. woman and her two young children are among five people dead in a St. Louis crash.
Troopers say an SUV carrying the five victims went off Lucas and Hunt Rd. north of W. Florissant Ave. on Saturday afternoon, overcorrected into the wrong lanes, and got hit by a cargo van going the other direction.
Kristy Monroe, 22, from Mexico died. So did her two children, Kayniah and Travion Jr., who are both younger than two years old.
22-year-old driver Travion Nelson and his 16-year-old brother, both from Florissant, are also dead. Nelson is the father of Kayniah and Travion Jr.
