Miami man arrested in Cooper County, suspected of trafficking cocaine

A cocaine bust in Mid-Missouri. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers pulled over a car they saw swerve around and cut off a semi-truck on east-bound I-70 early Wednesday afternoon near the 101 mile marker.

The driver was Mark Skidanov, a Miami resident.

Troopers said he was jittery and nervous and when they searched his car, they say they found more than 2 pounds of cocaine in a couple suitcases.

The state also took three cell phones and a laptop from the man as evidence and arrested him on pending drug trafficking charges.
