Mid-Missouri educators to join Governor Parson at Friday’s roundtable in Columbia

Columbia civic leaders and officials from Mizzou and several other higher education institutions will join Missouri’s governor at a roundtable Friday morning at Mizzou’s NextGen facility.

UM System President Dr. Mun Choi and leaders from Lincoln University and Moberly Area Community College will join Governor Parson at the roundtable, which begins at 9:15 at Mizzou’s Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Institute. Jefferson City Public Schools (JCPS) Superintendent Dr. Larry Linthacum is also scheduled to attend, along with the Nichols Career Center director in Jefferson City.

The NextGen facility is aimed at providing personalized care to Missourians. U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (R) predicts it will have a $5.6 billion impact on Missouri’s economy, over the next 25 years.
