While they’re not releasing projected snow totals yet, the National Weather Service (NWS) in St. Louis says Columbia and much of mid-Missouri will see accumulating snow late Wednesday through late Thursday.

NWS St. Louis meteorologist Matt Beitscher tells 939 the Eagle that the Columbia area is looking at two rounds of winter weather: one in the late afternoon or evening Wednesday and the other from Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon.

He’s expecting a mix of sleet and now. The NWS says Thursday’s commutes could be difficult.

Keep your radio tuned to 939 the Eagle for updated weather forecast information.
