Mid-Missouri lawmaker who lost husband to COVID recommends small medical device for everyone

An Ashland state lawmaker who lost her husband in August to COVID is urging you to purchase a pulse/oxygen meter. It’s a simple device that you can wear on your finger.

State Rep. Sara Walsh (R-Ashland) says her husband, Steve, suffered from COVID pneumonia, according to his doctors. Walsh spoke on the Eagle’s “Wake Up Columbia.”

Walsh says you can purchase a pulse/oxygen meter at a pharmacy, for about $25. She also urges residents to get tested for COVID.

63-year-old Steve Walsh was the longest-serving member of Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler’s staff.
