The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a heat advisory for Columbia, Ashland and most of the 939 the Eagle mid-Missouri listening area starting Monday at noon and going through Friday evening.
NWS St. Louis meteorologist Cole Peine tells 939 the Eagle that heat index values of 100 to 105 are expected, with moderate humidity.
