Two mid-Missourians are badly hurt in separate weekend crashes Saturday afternoon.
The Highway Patrol says Ashley Bealmear suffered a medical emergency while driving an SUV on Highway 52 east of Versailles and slammed into a pole. The 34-year-old Columbia woman, and 27-year-old passenger Skyler Lewis from Macon, have serious injuries.
A Jefferson City man was flown to the hospital after a wreck on Callaway County Road 389 west of New Bloomfield. Troopers say Brandon Maresh, 25, took his SUV too fast around a curve and flipped it. He has serious injuries. The three passengers all have minor injuries.
